With the release of Joe Budden’s new album only a few weeks away, he decides to treat us to another joint off the LP. This time he drops off the remix to his single “She Dont Put It Down” featuring Fabolous, Twista and Tank. His upcoming album No Love Lost hits stores February 5th and can be pre-ordered on iTunes.
In honor of the publishing deal The Blended Babies just inked with Sony/Boardwalk/ATV, the production duo has decided to release “Bout A Dolla” from the O’My’s which features an insane lineup of guests. Twista, Chuck Inglish (of The Cool Kids), Chip Tha Ripper and Chance The Rapper all lend verses over this breezy, summer-ready record.
Apparently today is Lupe Sunday. Mr. Fiasco and Twista join Killa Kyleon for this updated version of Bun B’s classic track “Get Throwed” for the Rap-A-Lot 25th Anniversary album. Dope…

Kanye is responsible for some of Twista’s biggest hits of his career in “Overnight Celebrity” and “Slow Jamz”. Twista is currently a free agent and he spoke to XXL about a possible signing to Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint.
“It’s very possible. My main producer, Traxter, is working a lot with [Kanye] lately, so that’s a possibility. I don’t think [Kanye] really got nobody like me over there, so you need a person like me up in there,” he added, while flashing an ear-to-ear grin. “It’s an easy vision. Can we make a hit together? We tried once or twice…it worked.”

Today’s flashback joint belongs to Twista’s hit single “Overnight Celebrity” off his 2004 Kamikaze album, featuring none other than Mr. Kanye West. For those of you who are asking, the whole point of #FlashbackFriday is to get y’all to reminisce on the good music of our past, just as if you’ve heard it for the first time. Tell me that THIS doesn’t bring up some of those enjoyable memories. You know, the time when the music they played on the radio wasn’t over saturated with pop and party records, and artists took the time to put a little “Soul” in their records. Yeah….those we’re the good ol’ days.
