Earlier this year, word spread that Justin Timberlake was planning to release a sequel to his highly successful The 20/20 Experience album. Justin later confirmed the news but didnt give any further information. Today, he decides to announce that The 20/20 Experience 2 will be hitting stores on September 30th. The LP will come with 10 new tracks and will be executive produced by Timbaland.
Fresh off his performance at the 55th Annual Grammys, JT decides to drop off some more tunes off his upcoming album The 20/20 Experience. “Mirrors” is produced by Timbaland and can be copped on iTunes now.

Missy Elliot unleashes two new singles today. The first is called “9th Inning” and the later is titled “Triple Threat” both featuring Timbaland.

Contrary to previous reports of Timbaland and Missy Elliott’s involvement in the upcoming oVoXo posthumous Aaliyah album, reps for the two have now confirmed they will not be participating with Drake and 40 for the singers upcoming album.
“Although Missy and Timbaland always strive to keep the memory of their close friend alive, we have not been contacted about the project nor are there any plans at this time to participate,” Mona Scott-Young, longtime manager for Missy Elliott, says. “We’ve seen the reports surfacing that they have been confirmed to participate but that is not the case. Both Missy and Timbaland are very sensitive to the loss still being felt by the family so we wanted to clear up any misinformation being circulated.”
Damn, if this actually happen, that’ll be a huge loss for the fans that want to see a genuine new Aaliyah album. In my opinion, I dont think Drake & 40 can pull it off successfully without any help from some these two. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how it pans out.
Yesterday, a new Aaliyah song “Enough Said” featuring Drake was released, which will be featured on her upcoming, highly anticipated posthumous album. There has been controversy surrounding the project ever since the news broke that Drake would be executive producing it, especially after Timbaland told Power 105′s The Breakfast Club a few days ago that he and Missy Elliott should be involved in the production, and it would “not be right” if they were left out.
Well, a source close to the project uncovered that Timbaland now is producing two songs on the record, with Drake producer Noah “40″ Shebib, who was behind the boards on “Enough Said,” handling a good portion of the rest of the production. No word yet as to whether or not Missy has gotten involved yet.
